NPA Construction – this course will cover a range of different topics including plastering, brickwork, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery. This is a highly practical course that will prepare students to enter the construction industry. In terms of entry requirements, students should have a keen interest in entering the construction trade.

NC Sport & Fitness – this course provides a great introduction to the field of sport and fitness. This course allows students to continue in education (successful completion of this course provides access to the HNC Fitness, Health & Exercise) or move into other employment options in the Sport and Fitness Industry. It builds knowledge and skills in sport and fitness e.g. personal fitness, how to deal with accidents and emergencies and how to plan activity sessions. It’s a highly practical course and students should expect to be taking part in a range of activities.

Access to Health & Social Care – this course will provide an opportunity to gain good experience and theoretical knowledge of the health & social care field. This course will provide the student with the skills and knowledge that would allow them to access the SVQ 2 Social Services & Healthcare. The course will cover topics such as care principals and practice, working in health and social care settings, and understanding and supporting people in the health & social care setting.
